Tanzania: Top Celebrities Linked to Drug Trafficking. Vanessa Mdee a.k.a Vee Money, Wema Sepetu etc.



The popular singer was in South Africa working when her name was listed among notorious celebrity drug traffickers in Tanzania. The singer later surrendered herself to police in Dar es Salaam.

 Her advocate, Aman Tenga confirmed that her client surrendered herself to the Central Police Station in the city after she appeared in the list of suspected drugs abusers and dealers revealed by Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Paul Makonda last month .


Tanzanian police over the weekend questioned top celebrities suspected of drug trafficking and drug abuse in an ongoing crackdown on anti-narcotics trade.
The celebrities appeared at the central police in Dar es Salaam for questioning after being named the investigation.
According to The Citizen newspaper, celebrities grilled included former Miss Tanzania Wema Sepetu, singer Khalid Mohammed alias TID, Dogo Hamidu and Babuu wa KItaa.
Those summoned include Nassib Abdul, popularly known as Diamond Platinumz, Emmanuel Elibariki, Rehema Chalamila, popularly known as Ray C, Wema Sepetu’s fiancé Idris Sultan, Azan Zungu, Abas Mtevu and Rugemarila Mutahaba.

Blowser error: Invalid Server Certificate
